Moving into her sixth decade on the planet, author, inspirational speaker, journalist, Youtube influencer, music producer and recording artist Luanne “Annie” Hunt has achieved more than she ever dreamed, considering she was told as a child she would never amount to anything.

Hunt proved the naysayers wrong a long time ago when she landed on the 2009 Grammy ballot with songs from her first nationally-released album, “Breaking Through.  Since then, she has won countless industry awards, including three CD of the Year honors from the National Traditional Country Music Association (NTCMA) and six American Songwriting awards.

In 2016, Hunt also was inducted in the Independent Superstars Hall of Fame and in 2020, the singer/songwriter landed on the Grammy ballot again for her critically-acclaimed anthem, “We Rise.”

She is best known for her chart-topping single, “Christmas Without You,” which was named by Sweden’s largest daily newspaper, Dagens Nyheter, one of the Top 25 Christmas Songs of All-time.

Outside of her music career, the Pennsylvania native spent 22 years as a freelance journalist for the Media News Group chain based in Southern California.  Over the years, she interviewed and wrote about some of the biggest celebrities in the world in just about every arena of life.

In addition, she traveled the U.S. from 2004 to 2009 as an inspirational speaker for Stonecroft Ministries based in Kansas City, Mo.  She also has authored three books, hosted the national “Luanne’s Land” podcast and most recently, was commissioned by the Villagers for Veterans charity to write and produce a song titled “Brave American Girl,” which pays tribute to women veterans.

The song/video will premier at an upcoming Villagers for Veterans event and will be introduced by the 2016 winner of the Miss U.S.A. pageant, Deshauna Barber.

Hunt's latest venture is running her popular Youtube channel, "In the Light with Luanne Hunt" which in a short time has attracted tens of thousands of viewers from around the world.  The channel features commentary by Annie about her journey out of Christianity and into the light of the One True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
