The Villages, FL  -  After spending decades in the Christian faith, Luanne “Annie” Hunt says she has finally broken free from the religion she questioned from the beginning.  The Pennsylvania native admits she initially felt a tremendous amount of pressure to “give her heart to Jesus” from her late husband and his family.

“At the time, I was newly married and wanted to be accepted by my in-laws, who seemed to want nothing to do with anyone who didn’t share their beliefs,” Hunt said.

Forty years later, Hunt is finally following her own path to the One, True God and shares what she has learned in her new book, “Jesus: Messiah or Myth?” (available free of charge on her website, www.insidethefaith.com).

With compelling detail, the author enlightens readers on everything from the  nefarious origins of Christianity and the pagan roots of Jesus to shameless lies told by Paul the Apostle and much more.

“I knew a lot about the New Testament but never spent much time studying the Old Testament,” said Hunt, who also is a journalist, speaker, podcast host and recording artist.  “It’s unbelievable how Christianity has taken countless scriptures and twisted them every which way to fit its Jesus narrative.  Now that I’ve seen how we’ve been duped, I can’t unsee it.”

Hunt says she found the strength to walk away from Christianity after coming across the videos of acclaimed rabbi, Tovia Singer.  His teachings inspired her so much so that she uploaded a video on Youtube in April, 2022 talking about how Singer opened her eyes to the deceptions of Christianity.  It took off like a rocket and quickly gained over 10,000 views.

Hunt continued to post commentaries and to date, her channel, “In the Light with Luanne Hunt,” has drawn tens of thousands of viewers from around the world.

“I had no idea there were so many ex-Christians out there looking for the truth,” said Hunt.  “It seems to be a movement that is growing daily.”

In conjunction with her channel, Hunt also launched a website, www.insidethefaith.com, which was created to provide resources and other tools to help people who are coming out of Christianity learn about the God of Israel.

In addition she is a journalist, who spent 22 years writing for the Media News Group chain based in Southern California, as well as several other newspapers and magazines.  Over the years, Hunt interviewed and wrote about some of the biggest celebrities in the world in entertainment, sports, religion and pop culture.

Along with her journalism career, Hunt  traveled the U.S. from 2004 to 2009 as an inspirational speaker for Stonecroft Ministries based in Kansas City, Mo.  She has authored four books and hosted the national “Luanne’s Land” podcast.

Hunt also pursues singing and songwriting and has won countless industry awards. They include three CD of the Year honors from the National Traditional Country Music Association (NTCMA), six American Songwriting awardS and five nominations from the prestigious Josie Music Awards.

She is currently recording an album of worship songs based on the Hebrew Scriptures titled, “Born To Praise You.”
